NANUK R&D offices

This light-filled workplace is an expansion of the existing Nanuk Plasticase properties in Terrebonne, Quebec and were designed especially for the Research and Development teams.

Plasticase, world renowned for its NANUK brand moulded plastic cases, created a new centre of innovation and creativity for its marketing, design, and product development teams in Terrebonne, Quebec, just down the street from their main offices.

Over 8,000 square feet on two floors, the new R&D workplace includes unassigned + assigned open-plan work areas, a sunny cafeteria, employee gym, informal areas for exchanges, as well as bright meeting rooms and closed offices with glazed facades.

The design inspiration came directly from Nanuk's customer base;

adventurers who take their cases around the world for work or play! A neutral and warm base, using a selection of materials that evoke the textures of nature; contrasting rough, rocky terrain and landscapes with crafted materials; polished stone and planed wooden boards.

The new design also puts forward a sustainable design, in particular thanks to the recycled office furniture from Réseau B

Design in collaboration with SBA Architecte and built by the team at Frare et Gallant.
