DE LA ROCHE HOUSE
This residential interior design project was designed for a young professional working from home, prioritizing a functional, stylish, and comfortable living space. The home was fully reimagined to include a custom kitchen renovation, modern bathroom remodel, and a dedicated home office, blending contemporary aesthetics with warm, natural materials.
The newly designed kitchen maximizes both storage and functionality, featuring cabinetry with woodgrain finishes from Bokea and deep green lower cabinets from IKEA, creating a sophisticated, modern kitchen aesthetic. The quartz countertops provide durability and elegance, complemented by a ceramic tile backsplash for texture and depth. The checkerboard tile flooring introduces a timeless touch, balancing the modern and classic kitchen design elements.
With remote work becoming a permanent lifestyle shift, this project included a dedicated home office space, separated by a custom metal and glass partition that maintains an open, airy feel while providing privacy and acoustic separation. Natural light, warm wood flooring, and curated artwork create an environment that is both inspiring and functional for working from home.
The bathroom was transformed into a modern spa-inspired retreat, featuring a floating wood vanity with a ribbed design, a solid surface countertop, and a rectangular stone vessel sink for a high-end finish. The soft peach walls paired with terrazzo flooring and ceramic tiles create a warm, organic feel. Brass fixtures, rounded lighting, and a custom-framed mirror add sophistication.
The living area was designed for relaxation, incorporating a modular sectional in neutral tones for a cozy, inviting atmosphere. A bold, geometric area rug anchors the space, while a painted ceiling detail in terracotta adds architectural interest. Low-profile coffee tables, soft lighting, and curated décor pieces complete this modern yet comfortable living space.
This home renovation and interior design project successfully integrates modern home aesthetics, multifunctional living spaces, and workspace optimization, offering a home that is both stylish and highly functional.
